JROTC Program

March 8, 2010

The First Militia Chapter annually recognizes the 14 Army ROTC Programs that are within the boundaries of our chapter area. The schools we support include Bell High School, Bradford High School, Columbia High School, Crescent City Junior/Senior High School, Englewood Senior High School, Interlachen High School, Matanzas High School, Palatka High School, Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Samuel W. Wolfson High School, St. Augustine High School, Union County High School, Williston High School and William M Rains High School. Our program consists of recognizing a graduating senior cadet from each school with a $100.00 savings bond, a framed certificate, and an AUSA JROTC medal. We also recognize a junior, sophomore, and freshmen cadet from each school with a framed certificate, and an AUSA JROTC medal. Each school’s Senior Army Instructor will select their awardees based on a cadets overall academic performance, performance at JROTC activities, and support of community/campus activities.
